HERPS

"Herps" is the vernacular word for reptiles or amphibians, so you dont have to say "Reptiles and Amphibians".      It comes from the Greek word "Herpetology", that means "things that crawl" and is concerned with poikilothermic,
ectothermic tetrapods, or so they say.

Burmese Python 蟒蛇

Python molurus bivittatus Photo by Jack Ferguson, and it is trying to bite him as he hangs over a bridge on a conduit at night. When young they can be found in trees, but age and weight means they normally stay on the ground as adults, and can often be found in water and streams as well. Can grow to 10-20 feet, and can eat large prey - such as deer, goats and dogs - killing by constriction and then swallowing their prey whole.
